The Steamed Powered Car

Today I am working on my Invention work and that is "The Steamed Powered Car" in Hurumanu 3

If you guys don't know these things but did you know that steam powered car are very fashionable and very colourful but mostly their is only one colour

The steam powered car.

Would you own one and drive a steam powered car? I think that I wouldn’t

drive or own a steam powered car because steam powered cars are so fast

and that could make me vomit. Also steam powered cars are faster than the

2021 cars like lamborghini and the bugatti. The reason I don’t want to ride the

Steam car is because I might fly away into the air unless it has seat belts.

What are the pluses and minuses to the steamed powered car? 

 The pluses for the brothers are compared with other cars of the time, the

Stanly Steamer was fast, clean and easy to start. And the minuses of the

brothers are that the cars are supposed to be refilled frequently with fresh water.

Describe how you would feel watching a bike designed by YOU win an international race? If I made that super bike I would be so happy because I would win the international race and

that so I could help my racer too because he won the race too. But if the super bike broke to

pieces. I would make another one because I can replace it from my own material.

Facts About International Women Day

Facts about International Women's Day                                                                                                                                                 

The New Zealand female was the first to vote. I think that

women are allowed to vote in everything. Also I think they

are allowed to get their own jobs and their own houses and their

driver's license. I think there was this one lady that ran in a marathon in

Boston. Some of the boys were trying to push her over the race.

But she wouldn’t just give up. She was still running and she would

not stop until she finished the race. She is very famous for what she

did in the marathon. Also women are allowed to play sports and are

allowed to do anything they want to do in their own lives.

Kathrine Switz

Some women can be quite scared and stuff but they

just have to stand up for themselves. And also to prove

themselves that they are better than anything in the world.

These men were trying to push her over and around but she

would never give up. This led to women to be allowed to run in a marathon.

I think that the women have compassion and they all are very kind.

Also the women are very brave that they can do anything. Some men

don’t appreciate women because they think they don’t know anything

about working in business and companies. But I think that women

have the right to do anything they want.

Heros

I am going to be talking to you about heroes that we did at hurumanu these heroes meant a lot to me.

Did you know that my favourite singer is Whitney Houston because she inspires me a lot to make me move forward.

“My Heros”

These are my heroes that I admire and that I would like

to know  more about these lovely heroes like my teachers and my

other heroes.

Anzacs

I admire Anzacs because they always use leadership that

I would be one day in life. So thanks to them for serving our

country and standing up for what's right but Anzacs are the

one who does all the safety work for us. The Anzacs do this for

their family and their other caregivers.

Mum

My mum is my hero because she does everything for

our family. She makes us food and cleans up everytime

and I always help out. I think everyone should appreciate

their mum because they are very caring and very helpful.

If we would appreciate our mum like me they would appreciate

you guys back. But the best part about our mum is that it makes

them happy all the time. 

Teachers 

I love teachers because they teach us and they try to let us

students learn new stuff and when your adults like the wonderful

teachers you will be smart. If you learn new stuff from the teacher

like you haven’t before. Also teachers are sometimes grumpy because

we always talk and chat and play around but if we do not do all of those

things we will be outstanding to the teachers.

Church

I love church because we always pray for Jesus and for

other people. Also church is the one thing that I like to

do on the weekend. But if you go to church you need to

be honest, smart and show kindness to other people.

2011 Christchurch Earthquake

Did you know that 165 people died in the earthquake and some survived.

2011 Christchurch Earthquake

The earthquake was caused by the rupture of a 15 kilometre long fault along the southern edge of the city from Cashmere to the Avon-Heath cote estuary. The fault slopes southward beneath the Port Hills. Also there was this big earthquake that almost everyone died.

But there was this one only guy his name was Chris Henry that saved everyone from the earthquake. He was so brave that he saved everyone with his own two hands. Also Chris Henry was lucky because he almost died in the earthquake but he still made it from the earthquake.

These Hills were cracking to pecie’s and they were crashing into people during the earthquake but when Chris Henry told the people to run some people did not run so Chris Henry had to help out to save their lives.

All the mansion’s broke apart and every other house's helpers went to help them so that was the Fire Brigade, the Police and St Jhons. 

Also 185 people died in the earthquake that everyone had to go to protect them from the earthquake and saven their family. The fire brigade tried helping them but they tried everything they had but it was worth nothing. But we all respect the Fire Brigade,Police and the Student Volunteer Army.
